Hello world!
So I’ve started this blog to hopefully share something useful around one of my passions – gardening.
I am hoping to keep this journal up to date to document my battle to makeover the garden we inherited when we moved into our home.
We’ve been here about 16 months now and as we crawl out of the dark of winter towards spring the inevitability of new growth in the garden draws me out to look forward to spending more time out there in the summer.

Anyone else recently tackled a project of this size? Anyone used decking and new railway sleepers to the same effect?
Admittedly there’s not much planting in there but that really isn’t the idea. I really want to think about how we can grow some veg of some sort and I do like my plants so we’ll more than likely have pots everywhere.
Anyway the point of the blog is to document progress, and the point of adding in the community features is so that you can all join in
